24V Khavar-Type Starter Solenoid

The starter solenoid sits on the starter body and, on the ignition signal, does two jobs: it pushes the pinion toward the flywheel and closes the main battery circuit to the starter motor.

This model is a 24 V Khavar-type solenoid. If the starter only clicks or does not turn when the key is switched, the solenoid is one of the first parts to check.
