Brush Holder Springs for Massey Ferguson Starter

These brush holder springs are used in the starters of Massey Ferguson (MF) tractors and Perkins engines, and their application list also includes Benz.

Their job is to keep the brushes in constant contact with the commutator; as the brushes wear, a healthy spring still applies enough pressure. Replacing tired springs together with the brushes is good practice. The springs are Bosch type.
