24V Starter Motor for Benz 10-Ton Wagon Hood Truck (Mailer)

The Mailer starter is built for the Wagon Hood truck, the bonneted Benz 10-ton, and runs on its 24 V electrical system.

It is a Bosch-type unit rated at 5.4 kW, engaging the flywheel through a 9-tooth pinion. That output is sized for cranking the heavy diesel engines of 10-ton trucks.
