A Benz-style alternator pulley with iron fan blades: the blades are part of the pulley and, as it turns, draw air through the alternator to cool it.

Its listed application is the Volvo N10 and N12 alternator of the Italian type. Iron blades stand up to heat and knocks better than plastic ones, which matters on alternators running under heavy load.
